Scientist

Dr. Bärbel Garsoffky

Member of the working group Cybermedia Lab.

Bärbel Garsoffky studied psychology at the university of Tuebingen (Diploma 1994) and earned her doctor´s degree at the university of Tuebingen (2000). From 1994 until 1995 she was certificated Scientific Assistant and then Research Scientist at the German Institute of Research for Distance Education (DIFF) in Tuebingen until 2001. Since then she has been working as Research Scientist at the Knowledge Media Research Center in Tuebingen. Actual working foci are cognitive processes during the reception of visual presentations of dynamic events (e.g. documentaries). Bärbel Garsoffky is also responsible for the library at the Knowledge Media Research Center.
